CUET-LANGUAGE TEST SYLLABUS

The CUET Language syllabus covers a wide range of topics, such as vocabulary, verbal ability, and reading comprehension.

Three different sorts of passages—factual, narrative, and literary—each with a word count of 300–500—are included in the exam’s Reading Comprehension portion.

Candidates will be judged on how well they understood the passage, how well they were able to understand the main idea, and how well they knew the vocabulary and word definitions.

The Verbal Ability test measures a candidate’s proficiency in using and putting language skills to use.

The subjects covered in this section include grammar, sentence restructuring, synonyms and antonyms, and word choice.

Candidates will need to show that they can spot grammatical errors in sentences, repair them, and use the right language to fill in the gaps.
